On July 20, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Huu Quang - Chairman of the Trade Union of Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd. - said that the unit had just coordinated with the Board of Directors of the company to organize a party to show gratitude to employees to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union.
The event is held at many restaurants in the central area of Thanh Hoa province, with the participation of about 13,000 workers and laborers. Due to the large number of participants, the program is divided into many phases, organized on Sundays every week.
According to Mr. Quang, before implementing the program, the Board of Directors coordinated with the Company's Trade Union to develop a plan and prepare necessary conditions with the desire to bring cozy, joyful and united parties to union members and employees.
The program is organized in July and is expected to last until early August 2026. Each meal is worth more than 400,000 VND, with a total budget of more than 5 billion VND.
According to reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper, at parties held in many restaurants in the area, most of the workers attending were happy, immersed in the atmosphere of the program and participated in lucky draws and cultural exchange activities.
Ms. Mai Thi Gai - a worker at Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd. - shared that for workers like her, she rarely has the opportunity to attend such a large-scale party. Having worked in the industrial park for many years, she and many workers have become accustomed to meals and quick meals.
Today, sitting at a well-prepared banquet table, with a rich menu, gentle music and participating in a lucky draw, we are very happy. The party not only helped us enjoy delicious dishes but also brought a feeling of being respected and cared for" - Ms. Gai said.
Sharing the same feeling, Ms. Le Thi Duyen - a worker at Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd. - shared that she has been attached to the company for 17 years. Throughout her working time, the Board of Directors and the Company's Trade Union regularly cared for and cared for union members and employees.
In particular, in the past 2 years, the company's Trade Union has continuously coordinated to organize parties for workers and laborers. According to Ms. Duyen, this is a practical activity, helping workers improve their spiritual lives, strengthen exchanges, connections and build solidarity.
