On May 16, Quang Yen Ward Trade Union said that Autoliv Vietnam Co., Ltd. organized the program "Trade Union Meal - Thanking Workers" for 203 union members, workers, and laborers of the company.
The program is organized on the occasion of the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026), celebrating the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026-2031 and responding to Workers' Month 2026.
Attending the program were leaders of the Quang Ninh Provincial Labor Federation, Quang Yen Ward Trade Union and leaders of Autoliv Vietnam Co., Ltd.
Speaking at the program, Ms. Dang Thi Kim Chung, Vice President of the Quang Ninh Provincial Labor Federation, emphasized that "Trade Union Meal - Thanking Workers" is not only an activity to care for material life but also shows the companionship and sharing of trade union organizations and businesses with workers; creating a cohesive atmosphere, encouraging workers to feel secure in their work and improve production efficiency.
Autoliv Vietnam Co., Ltd. is an FDI enterprise, operating in Song Khoai Industrial Park, Hiep Hoa ward, specializing in producing raw materials and safety airbag components for automobiles to serve the global production network of Autoliv Group.
In recent years, businesses have maintained many welfare policies for workers such as improving the quality of lunch meals, improving the working environment, ensuring insurance regimes and organizing cultural and sports activities for workers.
Currently, the company maintains a daily lunch meal worth about 50,000 VND/person; on the 25th of each month, it is increased to 100,000 VND/meal. With this "Trade Union Meal" program, the value of the meal is increased to 150,000 VND/meal.
