In 2026, the basic salary will increase by 10% for each employee
On the morning of December 10, the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union and the leaders of HD Hyundai-Vietnam Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (HVS) officially signed an agreement to increase salaries and benefits for workers in 2026.
Mr. Le Van Toan, Chairman of the HVS Trade Union, said that after 6 negotiation sessions between the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union and the leaders of HVS Company, the two sides have officially reached an agreement on the salary and benefits plan for employees.
This is a result demonstrating the efforts and spirit of sharing of both sides in the context of businesses continuing to promote investment in production infrastructure, towards stable and long-term development.
According to the signed agreement, in 2026, the company will increase the basic salary by 10% for each employee and reward them with 25 million VND/person.
The result bonus is divided into two periods, of which the first period is 10 million VND, paid on December 11, 2025 and the second period is 15 million VND, which will be awarded with the 2026 Lunar New Year bonus.
This result was achieved after many exchanges and discussions between the Union and the company's leaders, focusing on harmonizing benefits, for the lives of union members and workers as well as for the sustainable development of the company in the future.
Building a stable and developing working environment
Signing an agreement to increase wages and benefits for employees is considered one of the most important activities of the year at HVS in recent years.

Mr. Le Van Toan, Chairman of the HVS Trade Union, shared that throughout the negotiation process, the negotiating delegation persistently listened to the opinions of union members.
At the same time, work with a sense of responsibility, closely follow the production and business situation, the development orientation of the company and economic factors affecting workers' lives.
With each figure, it will contribute to creating a basis to ensure income, improve the material and spiritual life of more than 3,100 workers working at the enterprise.
"This is an appreciated result, demonstrating the company's concern for employees and the spirit of solidarity between the two sides.
The union hopes that the salary increase policy in 2026 will be a driving force for men to feel secure in sticking together, improving their skills, and building a more stable and developed working environment" - Mr. Toan emphasized.
Information about salary increase and bonus was shared by many workers in an excited atmosphere. Mr. Le Chung Chat, an employee of the Company, said, "I am very happy that the two sides have finally reached an agreement to increase their salary in 2026".
