Implementing the program "Month of listening to union members and workers speak" launched by the VGCL, the Trade Union of Vietnam National Shipping Lines has directed grassroots trade unions to organize many activities to listen to the thoughts, shares, and opinions of union members and workers. In which, the program "Trade Union Meal" (program) is implemented by many units with flexible and practical ways, suitable to the actual conditions of each enterprise.

Immediately after receiving the implementation guidance from the Trade Union of Vietnam National Shipping Lines, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Nosco Shipyard Joint Stock Company proactively coordinated with professional departments to develop an organization plan. In which, the trade union supported 50,000 VND/person, and at the same time proposed and received the companionship of the General Director of the company with an additional support of 75,000 VND/person to improve the quality of meals. At noon on July 31st, the Trade Union of Nosco Shipyard Joint Stock Company coordinated with the company's leadership to organize a program for nearly 1,000 union members and employees. This is the third time in 2026 that the program has been organized, further affirming the practical concern of the enterprise and the Trade Union organization for union members and employees, especially more than 900 direct workers working at the ship repair workshop.

Mr. Dang Van Dat - Chairman of the Trade Union of Nosco Shipyard Joint Stock Company - said that each Trade Union Meal not only contributes to improving the quality of lunch meals but is also an opportunity for workers to feel more clearly the concern of businesses and trade union organizations.

When workers feel the respect and companionship of the trade union and the company's leadership, they will feel more secure in sticking with the business. The joy of the workers is the motivation for the Trade Union Executive Committee to continue to innovate and organize more practical care activities" - Mr. Dang Van Dat shared.
