On November 18, the Quang Ngai Provincial Federation of Labor announced that it had organized a summary and rewarded individuals with many contributions to the Quang Ngai Provincial Trade Union Football Team to participate in the 2025 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament.
According to the Quang Ngai Provincial Federation of Labor, in 2025, the provincial Trade Union Football Team will participate in the Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament - a major sports playground organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in coordination with units.
Participating in the tournament, the Quang Ngai Trade Union team has more than 20 members, including coaches and players selected from agencies, units and enterprises in the province.
In the Southern qualifying round, the team is in Group E with SEAREFICO, Le Bao Minh and Dong Thap Trade Union. The Quang Ngai players played with great effort and courage, winning 1-0 in the opening match; drew 1-1 in the second match and won overwhelmingly 20-3 in the final match of the group. With 7 points, scoring a total of 21 goals, the team topped Group E, excellently qualified for the quarter-finals and officially participated in the National Final Round.
Although they stopped in the quarter-finals against Khanh Hoa, the performance of the whole team showed the resilient fighting spirit and pride of Quang Ngai Trade Union.
Following the success in the qualifying round, the team continued to participate in the National Finals in Ho Chi Minh City - where 16 strongest teams in the country were gathered.
The Quang Ngai Trade Union team competed in Group B with SAWACO, Bac Ninh 1 Trade Union and Dong Nai 3 Trade Union. With a fair-play spirit, solidarity and reasonable tactics, the team achieved impressive results: won 3-0 against Bac Ninh 1 Trade Union; drew 1-1 with SAWACO in a fierce match; won 4-0 against Dong Nai 3 Trade Union, topped Group B and qualified for the quarter-finals.
In the national quarter-final match, despite great efforts and demonstrating their fighting spirit, the Quang Ngai Trade Union team lost 1-2 to the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union 2 team and stopped at the tournament.
As a result, the Quang Ngai Trade Union team became one of the 8 strongest teams in the 2025 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament.
