According to the report, during the past term, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Can Tho Cardiovascular Hospital has actively implemented activities, focusing on developing union members and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers at the unit.

The care activities of the Trade Union organization for union members and workers have many innovations, implemented promptly, practically and brought clear results. The union also regularly introduces outstanding union members to the Party; in the 2023 - 2025 period alone, the unit has introduced and admitted 11 union members to the ranks of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
Speaking at the Congress, Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Hien - Member of the Standing Committee of the Can Tho City Labor Federation (CLF), Deputy Head of the City Trade Union Work Committee - suggested many important contents to orient Trade Union activities in the coming time.
Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Hien emphasized that the grassroots trade union needs to further strengthen its role as a representative and protection of workers' rights to retain high-quality human resources, meeting the requirements in the context of increasingly fierce competition in the health sector. Maintaining a team of good doctors and nurses is a vital factor for the development of the hospital.

In addition, the work of caring for the welfare of workers must be truly practical and needs to be promoted in digitalization, helping the hospital's welfare system not to be inferior to private health facilities. The trade union needs to closely coordinate with the hospital's communication department to strengthen propaganda, promote digital transformation, enhance the image and brand value of the unit. transparent and effective communication will be an important foundation for building reputation.
Faced with the trend of labor competition in the industry, the Trade Union must pay attention to building a team of courageous and modern Trade Union officials to meet the requirements of new tasks. The grassroots trade union needs to continue to launch emulation movements associated with professional tasks, contributing to improving the quality of medical examination and treatment, creating a competitive advantage for hospitals.
In addition, the Trade Union needs to proactively coordinate with units in the hospital to propose and prepare human resources in accordance with the unit's development strategy in the next phase.
The Congress elected 7 comrades to the Executive Committee of the new term Trade Union; elected 1 official delegate and 1 alternate delegate to attend the 1st Congress of the Can Tho City Trade Union, term 2025 - 2030.
