According to the Trade Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - USSH College (Hanoi National University Trade Union, under the Vietnam Education Union), for the 2023-2025 term, the trade union identifies caring for life, protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of officials and employees; participating in management, building harmonious and stable labor relations as the top priority, central, and consistent goal. USSH College has stood side by side with union members through specific actions.
Accordingly, USSH College participates in building the school year plan, building regulations for officials: Internal spending regulations; regulations on management decentralization and operating procedures at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities; regulations on funeral and wedding work for civil servants and employees.
Actively coordinate with the school to organize conferences of officials and employees, promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members to have effective and appropriate solutions to help union members perform their functions and tasks well. Direct the People's Inspection Board to coordinate with functional departments to supervise and inspect the compliance with internal regulations and rules of teaching and learning.
The Trade Union continues to launch the movement "Building a civilized and polite working environment" and well implement the project to build a set of rules for communication and behavior in schools.
In the context of arranging and streamlining the apparatus according to the Party's policy, USSH Trade Union proactively participates with the government in developing a project and deploying streamlining work to ensure that streamlining is implemented appropriately and most effectively with practical conditions, ensuring harmonious and stable labor relations.
Regarding care, every year, USSH Trade Union proactively develops plans and organizes periodic health check-ups for all officials and employees (VCNLĐ) with an average budget of more than 500 million VND/year, helping union members feel secure in their work, promptly detect and treat diseases. Review and request higher-level trade unions to visit and support officials in particularly difficult circumstances on the occasion of Tet Nguyen Dan, Workers' Month...
The "Nhan Van" Fund continues to be maintained effectively, becoming a great source of encouragement. During the term, the fund has supported 5 turns of union members in particularly difficult circumstances with a total amount of 30 million VND.
USSH Trade Union also identifies innovating the content and methods of operation with the motto "Innovation to connect", in order to improve the effectiveness and spread of the organization to each union member, VCNLĐ. Proactively register and well implement programs to improve the quality of operations; proactively innovate training methods (organize professional training for trade union officials in new, creative forms, integrating theory and practice, strengthening interaction and experience exchange. 100% of trade union officials are professionally trained, thereby helping to improve the quality and efficiency of trade union activities)...
Promote and effectively implement emulation movements through responding to major emulation movements of the industry and the whole country such as: "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style", "Good at school work, good at housework", "Innovation and creativity in teaching and learning"...
Every year, the USSH Trade Union proactively launches emulation programs at conferences of representatives of civil servants and employees; launches and maintains the effectiveness of the movement "Building civilized and polite offices", contributing to creating a green, clean, and beautiful working environment.
From 2023-2025, 41 collectives and nearly 300 USSH trade union members were commended at all levels, including collectives and individuals who achieved high commendation titles such as Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit, Certificate of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training, Ministry-level Emulation Soldiers...
