In which, the issue of "An cu" is identified as the most important premise for workers to stabilize their lives. From the reality in industrial parks and clusters in the province, Dong Thap Trade Union proposed to strongly promote the role of "bridge" with local authorities to remove bottlenecks in land funds and investment procedures. The core goal is to accelerate the progress of social housing projects and trade union institutions, ensuring that housing areas must be developed synchronously with social infrastructure such as kindergartens, medical facilities and community living spaces. This synchronization not only helps reduce the cost burden, especially for female workers, but also creates conditions for workers to closely associate with businesses (DN) through microfinance programs and low-interest loans to push back the problem of "black credit".
In parallel with stabilizing housing, the "Safety" factor needs to be elevated to a multi-faceted value system, including labor safety (LĐ), legal safety and job position safety. In the context of the 4.0 industrial revolution, Dong Thap Trade Union levels propose applying artificial intelligence (AI) and digital technology to monitoring and early warning of risks in production areas; and at the same time, substantially innovate training to make safety culture a self-awareness of each worker.
On the legal level, the trade union organization is committed to stronger protection of the legitimate rights of union members (TUs) against wage arrears and social insurance debts through online consulting channels and improving the quality of collective labor agreements. These agreements in the next term need to prioritize substance over quantity, ensuring benefits in terms of wages, bonuses and working conditions higher than the level prescribed by law.
The completeness of this strategy is perfected by the pillar "An tam", aiming to enhance the position and sustainable satisfaction for workers. The proposal to build a "digital workforce" of Dong Thap Trade Union through coordinating vocational skills retraining and modern industrial style is the key so that workers are not left behind. Along with that is the development of a "digital welfare ecosystem" on the smartphone platform, helping union members access trade union services and emergency support at just one touch point. In particular, focusing on building "Worker Cultural Spaces" in workplaces and dormitories will contribute to regenerating labor force, fostering spiritual life, creating a humane and happy working environment.
With the unity and consistency of the three pillars "An cu - An toan - An tam", Dong Thap Trade Union expects to contribute to building an increasingly strong Vietnamese Trade Union organization, truly being a reliable fulcrum, accompanying workers to enter a new stage of development with strong belief and aspiration to contribute.
