With the orientation of developing science, technology and innovation, Gia Lai province continues to allocate resources to support the International Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE) to develop key research fields, expand international cooperation and attract prestigious scientists and experts to work and research at the center.
According to ICISE, in 2026, the center will continue to maintain and expand a series of high-quality academic activities, attracting a large number of scientists and prestigious experts from around the world to participate, contributing to enhancing the scientific position of Vietnam in general and the Central - Central Highlands region in particular.

Notably, ICISE has established 4 key research groups including Neutrino physics, Quantum physics, Astrophysics and Biological physics.
In which, the 2 groups Neutrino physics and Quantum physics have full-time personnel. These are key research fields, which are important for the development of basic science, and at the same time open up many directions of application in technology, biomedicine and environment.
It is expected that in October 2026, ICISE will organize 2 special international scientific events including the Interdisciplinary International Scientific Conference "Science and Technology for Development" from October 7-9 and the "Quy Nhon Dialogue on Climate and Transformation" event from October 10-12.

In addition, the center is coordinating with the French Aerospace Research Center and the French Institute for Development Studies to complete the project and cost estimate for the Marine Surveillance Station and the Satellite Signal Transmission Station to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration.
Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan highly appreciated the contributions of Professor Tran Thanh Van - Chairman of the Vietnam Meets Science Association, Director of ICISE, Professor Le Kim Ngoc and ICISE collective in making the center a prestigious scientific address, attracting a large number of scientists from many countries and territories to Vietnam for research, work and academic exchange.

According to Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, many research results of ICISE have accompanied the province in socio-economic development, science and training, initially bringing positive results.
For ICISE to develop sustainably in the coming time, Gia Lai province is committed to continuing to support and promptly remove difficulties and obstacles. In which, the province agrees to support at least 100,000 USD/year for each spearhead scientific research direction.
For in-depth research topics or large-scale projects, the province will consider supplementing appropriate funding.
