On April 17, Nghe Tinh Railway Joint Stock Company coordinated with the Company's Trade Union to organize the donation of water purifiers, televisions, steam fans, refrigerators, and water tanks to workers at units.

Mr. Le Ngoc Sang - Chairman of the Trade Union of Nghe Tinh Railway Joint Stock Company said that the donation of essential living equipment this time is not only aimed at improving working and living conditions for union members and workers, especially in units directly involved in production and working in difficult conditions, but also clearly demonstrates the role and responsibility of the trade union organization in accompanying and caring for the lives of workers.

According to Mr. Sang, the characteristic of the railway industry is that many workplaces are dispersed, far from the center, and living conditions are still limited, especially at stations, checkpoints, and small stations. In many places, workers have to work in hot sunny environments, lacking minimal living equipment, directly affecting health, psychology and work efficiency.

Equipping equipment such as water purifiers, refrigerators, steam fans, TVs or water tanks, although not of great value, is very practical, helping workers improve their daily living conditions, have better rest after working hours, thereby improving labor quality and ensuring safety in the production process," Mr. Sang emphasized.

This is one of the practical activities in response to Workers' Month and Action Month on occupational safety and health in 2026, with the overarching goal of putting workers at the center, strengthening care for life, and at the same time raising awareness and awareness of complying with processes, labor discipline, and preventing risks in production.

According to Mr. Sang, besides improving living conditions, the Company's Trade Union also focuses on promoting propaganda and training activities on occupational safety and health; launching emulation movements for good labor and creative labor; encouraging workers to promote initiatives and technical improvements, contributing to improving productivity, quality and business efficiency.

In the coming time, the Company's Trade Union will continue to closely coordinate with professional departments to comprehensively review working conditions at units, prioritize investment, supplement essential equipment, and gradually improve the working environment in the direction of "Green - Clean - Beautiful - Safe". At the same time, focus on care activities such as visiting and supporting workers in difficult circumstances, organizing periodic health check-ups, improving meal times, and improving welfare for union members.

Taking care of workers' lives is not only a responsibility but also a key factor in building stable human resources, long-term attachment to the industry. When workers are assured of their lives and can work in a safe environment, production and business efficiency will also be sustainably improved," Mr. Sang affirmed.
