Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC) has just organized a program to meet, encourage and reward the delegation "Outstanding Electricity Industry Workers in 2026", "Creative Labor and 10,000 Initiatives Movement in the period 2025-2028", along with typical examples of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style at the Corporation level.
Speaking at the opening, Mr. Tran Tuan Khanh - Chairman of EVNNPC Trade Union said that in recent years, under the leadership of the Party Committee of the Corporation, the direction of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union and close coordination with professional departments, emulation movements in EVNNPC have been widely deployed, associated with production and business tasks and digital transformation strategy.
Movements such as studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style; "Creative Labor"; Program "10,000 Initiatives in the period 2025-2028"; emulation to ensure labor safety, improve customer service quality, save electricity and digital transformation... have created a vibrant emulation atmosphere throughout the Corporation.
According to Mr. Tran Tuan Khanh, the spirit of innovation is not only spreading in the technical field but also present in many aspects of work such as corporate governance, business, customer service, communication, application of artificial intelligence (AI), big data and digital technology in power grid operation management.
In parallel with production and business activities, studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style is increasingly going deeper, becoming a self-motivation of each cadre and employee in labor and work.
Many engineers and workers have worked day and night to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and storms, quickly restoring power supply to serve the people; directly participating in key national projects, thereby portraying the image of Northern electricians who are dedicated, responsible and have great bravery.
One of the highlights of the program is the activity of commending typical collectives and individuals in the "Creative Labor" movement and the "10,000 Initiatives" Program.
In the past 5 years, EVNNPC has had more than 4,000 recognized initiatives, bringing value and profit of hundreds of billions of VND to the State and businesses. In 2025 alone, the Corporation implemented 486 initiatives, reaching 77% of the first year plan of the "10,000 Initiatives for the period 2025-2028" Program. Many initiatives have effectively applied digital technology and AI in operation management, production and business.
Responding to EVN's program, EVNNPC has assigned a target of 2,700 initiatives to units, and at the same time established consulting groups to support initiatives to accompany workers from ideas to product completion.
According to EVNNPC, many solutions applying AI, GIS, smart data analysis and automation in grid management and operation are gradually promoting efficiency, contributing to improving labor productivity, optimizing costs and promoting digital transformation throughout the Corporation.
In the period 2021-2025, trade union levels in EVNNPC have organized more than 400 conferences, training classes, and thematic activities; and at the same time promoted propaganda through websites, fan pages, social networks and internal communication channels to spread the spirit of responsibility, solidarity and dedication in the staff and employees.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Duc Thien - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Member Council cum General Director of EVNNPC acknowledged and praised the efforts of the entire Corporation's employees.
According to Mr. Nguyen Duc Thien, in all circumstances, from ensuring electricity for socio-economic development, overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, storms and floods, deploying key projects to digital transformation, EVNNPC employees always show a spirit of responsibility, dedication, bravery and will to overcome difficulties.
The General Director of EVNNPC emphasized that the greatest value from emulation movements lies not only in the achievements but also in the spirit of innovation, responsibility and aspiration to contribute that is awakened in each official, employee, and worker.
He also expressed his respect for the team of workers directly producing, managing and operating the power grid in remote, isolated, border, and island areas - those who silently overcome difficulties to ensure smooth and safe electricity flow in all conditions.
