Speaking at the opening of the festival, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, Deputy Head of the Festival Organizing Committee emphasized that in recent years, trade union levels in the province have always paid attention to comprehensively caring for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.
The art festival is organized to create a healthy and useful playground; encourage the development of mass cultural and artistic movements at the grassroots level; discover and nurture cultural and artistic core; and at the same time create conditions for trade union officials, union members, and workers to exchange, learn, and strengthen solidarity and attachment between the Trade Union organization and businesses and workers.
The second Bac Ninh Provincial Arts Festival for workers, civil servants, and laborers - 2026 is organized in two rounds including the cluster-level preliminary round and the provincial-level final round.
The whole province has 81 grassroots trade unions participating, divided into 05 clusters, selecting teams with high achievements to enter the final round expected to be held in September 2026.
In particular, the programs at the preliminary and final rounds will be recorded and posted on the digital platforms of the Bac Ninh Trade Union for a large number of union members, workers and people to follow and cheer.
The preliminary round of Cluster No. 1 gathered 14 art troupes from grassroots trade unions in Yen Phong Industrial Park, Yen Phong Expanded, Yen Phong 2C, VSIP Bac Ninh 2 and grassroots trade unions in Kinh Bac, Tu Son, Vo Cuong, Hap Linh wards, Tien Du commune, with nearly 300 amateur actors who are union members and workers directly participating in the performance.
On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation presented 119 gifts, each worth 400,000 VND, to union members and workers in difficult circumstances from units participating in the Festival.
Through the Festival, the cultural and artistic movement among workers, civil servants, and laborers continues to spread strongly, contributing to building a modern, united, and creative worker contingent, meeting the development requirements of the province in the new period.
At the end of the Preliminary Round of Cluster No. 1, the Organizing Committee awarded 01 First Prize, 02 Second Prizes and 03 Third Prizes to teams with outstanding achievements. In which, the First Prize belonged to the Trade Union of Diana Unicharm Bac Ninh Joint Stock Company Branch (under Tien Du Commune Trade Union).
Two Second Prizes were awarded to the Trade Union of Lingyi Vietnam Co., Ltd. and the Trade Union of Ban Mai Kindergarten (under Tu Son Ward Trade Union).
The three Third Prizes belonged to the Trade Union of Samsung Display Vietnam Co., Ltd., the Trade Union of Samsung Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. and the Trade Union of Bac Ninh Trading and Tourism Joint Stock Company (under Kinh Bac Ward Trade Union).
The three teams that won first and second prizes, including the Trade Union of Diana Unicharm Bac Ninh Joint Stock Company Branch (under Tien Du Commune Trade Union), the Trade Union of Lingyi Vietnam Co., Ltd. and the Trade Union of Ban Mai Kindergarten (under Tu Son Ward Trade Union), will represent Cluster No. 1 to participate in the Final Round of the second Bac Ninh Provincial Arts and Culture Festival - 2026, scheduled to be held on September 6, 2026.
