Ho Chi Minh City Trade Unions at all levels are promoting effective and practical care activities for union members and workers in the "Workers' Month" in 2025.

The Binh Thanh District Labor Federation, Ho Chi Minh City has just organized the program "Fest for Workers' Health" and the program "Thank You to Workers" in 2025.

At this festival, Binh Thanh District Labor Federation coordinated with a number of health units to organize free medical examinations for 487 workers, worth VND900,000/person, and gave gifts to 768 workers in difficult circumstances, each person with a gift worth VND1 million (including VND700,000 in cash and gifts worth VND300,000).

Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhan Tam, a worker at Binh Thanh District Public Service Company, said that both she and her husband are workers of the company, with limited monthly income, so they only get a health check-up once a year during the company's periodic health check-ups. This time, the Binh Thanh District Labor Federation coordinated with a number of medical units to examine her health, examine gynecology, and conduct blood tests to screen and detect dangerous diseases early. "I am very happy that the union cares about our health and also gives us gifts," Ms. Tam shared.

Mr. Cao Hong Ha, Chairman of the Binh Thanh District Labor Federation, said that this is a practical activity starting the 17th "Workers' Month" in 2025 and the District Labor Federation continues to expand a variety of welfare programs to care for union members and workers, especially health care and physical care for workers. The budget for taking care of union members and employees of these two programs is more than 1.2 billion VND.

Binh Thanh District Labor Federation also organized the program "Stick to school with your children" to give gifts to care for children of workers in difficult circumstances, continue to effectively implement the union member welfare program and mobilize funds to donate 50 notebooks and 3 "Union Shelters" to union members and workers with difficult housing circumstances. The total budget for caring for union members and employees in the "Workers' Month" in 2025 is nearly 3.5 billion VND.

Mr. Vo Khac Thai, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, informed that since mid-March 2025, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation has organized a conference to implement the "Workers' Month" plan for 2025 with the theme "Vietnamese workers pioneering in entering a new era" to the Trade Unions at the grassroots level, Trade Unions directly under the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation.

Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union at all levels will continue to organize activities that are effective in the locality and unit, welcomed by many union members and employees, and cared for and supported by Party committees at all levels, authorities, and employers. At the same time, it is necessary to select to effectively implement a number of activities such as: Program "Propaganda, raising awareness of union members and employees"; program "Creative workers, firmly entering the new era"; program "5th month dialogue" and forum "Party with workers - Workers with the Party"; program "Million gifts - Thank you to workers"...

This is also an opportunity to encourage workers to actively study, improve their qualifications and skills, change their careers, approach modern labor trends, adapt to the context of international integration and the 4th industrial revolution, and prepare for the new development stage of the country, said Mr. Vo Khac Thai.
