On December 11, the grassroots trade union of the Institute of Science and Design Research (under the Vietnam - Russia Joint Venture Trade Union Vietsovpetro) announced the summary of the pickleball tournament organized by the unit, awarding prizes to teams and athletes with high achievements.
Previously, the grassroots Trade Union of the Institute of Science and Design organized a sports festival "Welcome New Year 2026" among union members and workers, with the content of pickleball competition - a sport loved by many workers.
The sports festival is organized with the goal of enhancing exchanges, tightening relations between departments, creating a healthy and motivating playground for all staff and employees. Thereby, the event attracted nearly 150 athletes to participate, competing in 3 events with 12 groups including: Newbie double, Men's - Women's double and South PRO double. The matches in the sports festival took place in an exciting, joyful and united atmosphere, but no less exciting and dramatic.
After the matches, the Organizing Committee summarized and awarded 1 First Prize, 1 Second Prize, and 2 Third Prizes in each competition event. In addition, the sports festival also awarded many happy titles to athletes through moments in the tournament to create a joyful, friendly and cohesive atmosphere.
According to the Trade Union of the Institute of Science and Design Research, the sports festival ended successfully, leaving many beautiful impressions of the sportsmanship, cohesion and enthusiastic New Year's spirit among the working group. This will be the motivation for the unit to enter 2026 with great determination, collective strength and new successes.
