On the afternoon of June 1st, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation organized a meeting with the delegation attending the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026 - 2031.
Attending the meeting were Mr. Trinh Tuan Sinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province; representatives of leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province, and 19 official delegates attending the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Trinh Tuan Sinh congratulated the delegates of Thanh Hoa province attending the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress.
Deputy Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee emphasized that the participation of Thanh Hoa Trade Union delegates in the Vietnam Trade Union Congress is an honor and pride for each delegate, and also a great responsibility to union members and workers in the province.
According to Mr. Trinh Tuan Sinh, the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress takes place in the context of the country entering a new stage of development with many breakthrough policies and decisions. The requirements set for trade union organizations are increasingly high, especially in the context of deep international integration, innovation of growth models and strong digital transformation.
Therefore, Mr. Trinh Tuan Sinh requested the delegation of Thanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union to attend the Congress to prepare carefully and thoroughly in all aspects; promote the spirit of democracy, solidarity, responsibility, wisdom, and enthusiasm; actively research and contribute profound opinions to the documents submitted to the Congress. At the same time, reflect the thoughts and aspirations of union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers of the province, contributing to the overall success of the Congress.
Each delegate needs to proactively research and absorb the major guidelines and orientations of the Vietnam Trade Union organization; exchange and learn good models and creative ways of doing things, thereby applying them effectively and in accordance with the actual conditions of each unit and locality" - Mr. Trinh Tuan Sinh emphasized.
Deputy Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee also proposed that, immediately after the Congress, Thanh Hoa Trade Union should seriously absorb the spirit of the Congress; proactively develop specific plans and action programs and organize the dissemination and implementation of the Congress Resolution to trade union levels, union members, and workers. Thereby, bringing the movement of workers, civil servants, and laborers to become increasingly strong and developed.
The 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026 - 2031 will take place in 3 days, from June 3-5, at the National Convention Center, Hanoi City, with the participation of 780 official delegates, representing union members and workers across the country.
The Congress is of particular importance in determining the direction and tasks of trade union activities in the new period; continuing to care for and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers; and at the same time affirming the role of trade union organizations in building a modern and strong Vietnamese working class.
The delegation of Thanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union attending the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress included 19 official delegates, representing the will and aspirations of more than 317,000 union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers in the province.
