On May 4, the Gia Lai Provincial Employment Service Center (under the Provincial Department of Home Affairs) said that on June 6, the Job Fair for workers returning from Korea under the EPS program and from Japan under the IM Japan program will take place at the Job Exchange (address: 20 Su Van Hanh, Pleiku City).
The event was jointly organized by the Overseas Labor Center and the Provincial Employment Service Center, taking place over 1 day.
The participants include: Workers inside and outside the province who have completed the EPS or IM Japan program and are looking for jobs; local workers interested in vocational training, labor export or learning about the labor market.
Along with that are businesses, organizations and individuals who need to recruit workers under the two above-mentioned programs.
The fair is part of the plan of Gia Lai province to improve the quality of human resources, with the goal of attracting more than 3,000 rural workers to participate in vocational training every year.
Thereby, the province aims to increase the rate of workers with degrees and certificates to 25% by 2030, meeting the requirements of industrialization and modernization of the agricultural sector.
The province is also committed to mobilizing and effectively using resources to create the most favorable conditions for vocational training. The plan not only aims to improve labor quality and productivity, but also create sustainable jobs, contribute to poverty reduction and stabilize income for people.
This is an important step in the strategy of shifting labor structure and developing sustainable agriculture in Gia Lai.
