On December 19, Emulation Bloc No. 1 - Central Industry Trade Unions - held a conference to summarize 2024, directions and tasks for 2025.

Emulation Block No. 1 has 6 Central Trade Unions including: Vietnam Transport Trade Union; Vietnam Industry and Trade Trade Union; Vietnam Construction Trade Union; Vietnam Banking Trade Union; Information and Communications Trade Union; Vietnam Agriculture and Rural Development Trade Union.
In 2024, trade unions at all levels in the Emulation Bloc have performed well their representative functions in caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers; proactively and actively innovated and improved the quality of participation in the development of policies and laws related to union members, workers and trade union activities; actively proposed and contributed comments on legal documents directly related to union members and workers.
In 2024, the entire emulation bloc deployed support for more than 400,000 union members and workers of many categories, with an amount of over 300 billion VND. The amount of money donated to support compatriots affected by storm No. 3 was nearly 82.2 billion VND.
The entire emulation bloc has developed 10,156 union members and 43 grassroots unions. Some units have had new ways of doing things suitable to the practical conditions of the industry to develop union members and establish new grassroots unions.

The Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor directed that in 2025, the emulation bloc needs to continue to concretize, thoroughly grasp, and deploy resolutions, topics, projects, plans, and instructions... of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on implementing the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union; widely propagate the Trade Union Law (amended); actively contribute proposals for the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to advise and propose the government to issue decrees and documents to concretize and soon put the Trade Union Law (amended) into practice, creating the best legal corridor for trade unions to operate.
The Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor requested the emulation bloc that in the coming time, each unit should do a good job of ideological work, propaganda, and mobilization of cadres, union members, civil servants, and workers in the process of streamlining the organizational apparatus; participate in the arrangement of the specialized apparatus and the organization of the industry union according to the plan and scheme of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; resolve policies for the team of union cadres in particular as well as the team of cadres, civil servants, and public employees in general after the streamlining of the apparatus...
Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan also directed the bloc to promote emulation movements within the bloc. In the immediate future, units within the bloc need to have a plan to take care of Tet for workers.
At the conference, the units signed the emulation agreement for 2025.
