Ha Tinh proactively prevents collective work

After the case of many teachers of Nguyen Du Plus International Kindergarten collectively stopping work, the Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) requested grassroots trade unions (CĐCS) to proactively grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers to promptly coordinate and resolve, avoiding disputes leading to collective work stoppages.

Mr. Ngo Dinh Van - Vice Chairman of Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation - informed that immediately after the collective work stoppage of many teachers of Nguyen Du Plus International Kindergarten on August 1 related to the proposal to increase salaries and ensure welfare regimes, the Provincial Labor Federation directly worked with the managing enterprise, Tam Sinh Loc Joint Stock Company, the School Board of Directors and representatives of employees.

At the working session, the business representative said that the average salary has been adjusted to increase by 740,000 VND/person/month, while the employee's recommendation is to increase by an average of 1 million VND/person/month. The highest increase is 1,543,000 VND/person/month, the lowest is 500,000 VND/person/month.

In addition, the company has canceled the regulation on retroactive tuition collection for children of teachers currently studying at the school if teachers quit their jobs before the committed time. "According to the business side, the unit will continue to consider adjusting salaries according to a roadmap suitable to the financial situation" - Mr. Van said.

Leaders of the Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation proposed that Tam Sinh Loc Joint Stock Company concretize the clauses beneficial to employees in the collective labor agreement so that employees can conveniently monitor and supervise. At the same time, businesses need to promote the spirit of receptiveness, strengthen dialogue with employees, consider and resolve legitimate recommendations based on actual capacity, and pay attention to building appropriate salary and welfare policies to stabilize the labor force.

Mr. Ngo Dinh Van acknowledged the efforts of the grassroots trade union in coordinating with employers to quickly, promptly and effectively handle the collective work stoppage at Nguyen Du Plus International Kindergarten.

However, according to Mr. Van, the important thing is that the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union must proactively and promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of workers to propose to employers to organize dialogues, negotiations and resolve problems early, not allowing disputes to arise in labor relations leading to collective work stoppages.

After the incident at Nguyen Du Plus International Kindergarten, the Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation requested the grassroots trade union to promptly grasp the thoughts, resolve obstacles, and prevent disputes.
