Along with the Trade Union Tet market, recently, the City Labor Federation organized a collective running race at 12 bridge points in industrial parks, creating an explosive atmosphere in the last days of the year. On the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, the City Labor Federation supported 20,000 gifts (1 million VND/gift), giving 49,444 bus tickets to workers far from home (distance from 150km or more). The City Labor Federation also directed the organization of Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party in 100% of grassroots trade unions; allocated 3,000 Tet gift bags for union members and workers participating in the program, worth 500,000 VND/gift bag. The total support budget of the City Labor Federation during Tet 2026 is more than 50 billion VND. The City People's Committee supported 11.8 billion VND to take care of Tet for union members and workers.
At many businesses, grassroots trade unions have organized Trade Union Year-end Meals, exchange activities, lucky draws, creating a warm and cohesive atmosphere for tens of thousands of workers. Thereby, clearly affirming the role and responsibility of the Trade Union organization in concretizing and organizing the implementation of the Party's consistent policy on caring for people's lives, contributing to bringing the Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels into life.
Businesses pay salaries and Tet bonuses to employees with an average bonus estimated at 7,358,000 VND/person, an increase of 278,000 VND/person (about 4%) compared to the average Tet Nguyen Dan Tet bonus of At Ty.
Mr. Ngo Viet Dong - General Director of Hai Phong Urban Environment One Member Limited Liability Company - said that as a special unit with 100% of employees working throughout Tet, during the Lunar New Year, the Company pays a Tet bonus of 4.2 million VND/employee along with a Tet gift in kind worth 900,000 VND/person. The company's Trade Union also allocated a gift of 600,000 VND for 1,500,000 union members and employees during this Tet.
Recently, representatives of the leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour presented 50 gifts, each worth 1.3 million VND, to union members in difficult circumstances of the company, bringing warm joy and sharing so that employees and their families can celebrate Tet happily and feel secure in completing their tasks.
