The conference announced the decision to establish the Hai Phong City Labor Federation (LDLD) on the basis of merging the Hai Phong City Labor Federation and the Hai Duong Provincial Labor Federation.
Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan holds the position of Chairman of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation. The Vice Presidents of the City Labor Federation include Mr. Nguyen Van Phiet, Ms. Le Thi Thanh Thuy, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh, Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet, Ms. Ngo Thi Hong Loan. Mr. Dang Duc Hien holds the position of Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the City Labor Federation.
The conference also announced the decision of the Executive Committee of the City Labor Federation consisting of 40 members and the Standing Committee of 15 members. The Hai Phong City Labor Federation announced the decision to establish 28 commune, ward, and special zone trade unions and personnel work decisions at these 28 units.
Speaking at the conference, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Thai Thu Xuong emphasized that the establishment of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation and trade unions of communes, wards and special zones is an important turning point in consolidating and perfecting the trade union apparatus in the direction of streamlining and efficiency, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new period.
The Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor also suggested that from now until the end of 2025, the amount of work to be done is very large. The Hai Phong City Labor Federation reviewed all activities according to the plan at the beginning of the year, developed a job position project, assigned tasks and officers in charge of specific areas to get to work. The City Labor Federation supports commune, ward and special zone trade unions in developing and performing functions and tasks. Along with that, develop a plan to direct and organize Trade Union Congresses at all levels in accordance with the instructions of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
The City Labor Federation strengthens propaganda, raises awareness and responsibility of union officials and the participation of trade unions at all levels in the process of streamlining the apparatus, streamlining the payroll, maintaining internal solidarity in the process of streamlining. The City Trade Union continues to implement the peak month of developing union members in conjunction with the 96th anniversary of the Vietnam Trade Union on July 28 as well as a plan to organize activities to care for union members and workers.
