Two cases of adjusting the number of employees in public service units based on Decree 106/2020/ND-CP.

Article 11 of Decree 106/2020/ND-CP on job positions and number of employees in public service units stipulates:

Adjusting the number of employees annually

1. Adjusting the number of employees in public service units is implemented in the following cases:

a) Public service units that change one of the grounds specified in Clause 2, Article 4 of this Decree;

b) Public service units established or reorganized according to the decision of the competent authority.

2. The procedure and records for adjusting the number of employees shall comply with the provisions of Articles 9 and 10 of this Decree.

Accordingly, the number of people working in public service units will be adjusted in the following cases:

- Public service units have changed one of the bases for determining the number of employees;

- Public service units established and reorganized according to the decision of the competent authority.

According to regulations, the basis for determining the number of employees includes:

a) Job position and actual workload at each job position of a public service unit;

b) The level of modernization of offices, equipment, working means and application of information technology;

c) The status of management and use of the assigned number of employees of the unit.
