Speaking at the event, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism Bui Thi Ngoc Hieu emphasized that the city's tourism industry is entering a new stage of development with high requirements for service quality, competitiveness and international integration. From there, human resources become a decisive factor for the sustainable development of the industry.
The job exchange will play an effective connecting role between labor supply and demand, between the State - School - Enterprise.

As a student majoring in Tourism and Travel Service Management, Nguyen Nhat Hao (University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University - HCM) sees that job opportunities at the exchange are very diverse, and hopes that similar events will be organized more and more.
Sharing the excited feeling, Dang Thi Ngoc Doanh (Saigon Tourism College) shared: "Being exposed to many businesses helps me know what the market needs, thereby having more motivation to train and prepare better for the future.

With the number of participating units increasing by more than 30% compared to the previous year, the event provides more than 2,000 diverse job positions with attractive benefits. Here, a large number of workers and students in the tourism industry have the opportunity to directly access more than 35 business booths, opening up many rich career choices.
The tourism industry job exchange was formed in 2023, stemming from practical needs after the COVID-19 pandemic when the tourism labor market was disrupted. To date, this activity has been gradually maintained, completed and developed, becoming one of the effective solutions to connect labor supply and demand in the industry.
The tourism job fair also belongs to the series of activities of the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival 2026. The festival takes place at 23/9 Park, gathering many stimulus activities and exciting entertainment programs for people, lasting until April 5.
