On November 1, the Trade Union of Agriculture and Rural Development of Dak Lak province organized the "26th Traditional Sports Festival of Agriculture and Rural Development of Dak Lak province - 2024".
This activity aims to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Agriculture and Rural Development Sector of Vietnam (November 14, 1945 - November 14, 2024); the 120th anniversary of the establishment of Dak Lak province (November 22, 1904 - November 22, 2024); the 28th anniversary of the establishment of the Industry Union (October 10, 1996 - October 10, 2024).
This year's sports festival has 18 delegations, with nearly 300 athletes participating. All represent grassroots trade unions and union members of industry trade unions. The athletes compete in 4 main events with 16 different events.
The Organizing Committee will award 16 sets of medals of various types with prizes for collectives and individual athletes with excellent achievements; the overall flag for the leading teams with the best achievements.
Mr. Le Anh Hung - Chairman of the Trade Union of Agriculture and Rural Development of Dak Lak province informed that this sports festival is an opportunity for cadres, union members and workers in the whole industry to meet, exchange and practice health.
Thereby, strengthening solidarity, cohesion, helping each other in studying, working, contributing to the excellent completion of assigned tasks.
The events are organized to care for and protect the rights and interests of union members and workers.
"For the sports festival to be a success, I hope that the delegations will strictly follow the regulations. The athletes will compete honestly, seriously, try their best, demonstrate the noble spirit of sportsmanship, and dedicate to the audience exciting and attractive matches.
The referee team conducted the competition very impartially and objectively to have a successful and good tournament" - Mr. Hung shared more.
