Hau Giang - On April 9, the Trade Union of Hau Giang Industrial Parks held a conference to review trade union activities in the first quarter, deploying directions and tasks for the second quarter of 2025.

The Trade Union of Hau Giang Industrial Parks has just informed about positive signals in the employment and income situation of workers in the province's industrial parks in the first months of 2025. Accordingly, businesses have recorded many new orders, creating momentum for improvement in the lives of the workforce.

Notably, the average salary of workers working in concentrated industrial parks and clusters in the province has increased, reaching nearly 7.8 million VND/person/month. This is a positive signal, showing the recovery and development of businesses in the region, while bringing a more stable source of income to workers.

In addition, trade union activities in the first quarter of 2025 will be vibrant with many practical programs aimed at union members and workers. The Trade Union of Industrial Parks of the province has directed grassroots Trade Unions to consider selecting 100 union members and workers in difficult circumstances to give meaningful Lunar New Year gifts in 2025 from the leaders of the Party and State, each gift worth 1,300,000 VND.

The provincial trade union also strongly implements Tet support activities for union members. There have been 1,000 union members in difficult circumstances participating in the "Union Tet Market 2025" Program online, creating economical and convenient shopping conditions.

At the same time, 3,380 other union members were selected to support direct shopping at the Hau Giang Trade Union Tet Market Program. The total value of the support gifts during the Lunar New Year is up to more than 1.9 billion VND.

Regarding the salary and bonus situation for Tet, the lowest bonus recorded is 3 million VND/person, while the impressively highest bonus is over 167 million VND/person. In addition, the grassroots trade unions have proactively coordinated with the Board of Directors of enterprises to give 22,900 more gifts to employees, with a total value of more than 7.8 billion VND.

In the first quarter of the year, the grassroots grassroots also actively implemented regular care for union members. There were 938 union members and workers in difficult circumstances and dangerous diseases were visited and supported promptly. In particular, the Union of Industrial Zones in the province has supported the construction of a "trade union shelter" worth VND 50 million, bringing the total funding for this activity in the quarter to VND 1 billion.

Union member development work has also achieved encouraging results when 813 more union members were admitted in the first quarter of 2025. Currently, the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of Hau Giang province has 29 affiliated Trade Unions and 1 grassroots Trade Union, with a total of 21,813 union members out of a total of 23,073 workers and civil servants.
