On April 12, the launching ceremony of Workers' Month 2025 took place at Saigon Madagui Tourism Joint Stock Company, in Madaguoi town, Da Huoai district.
The event was attended by representatives of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation, leaders of Da Huoai district and more than 200 union officials, union members, workers, civil servants and laborers.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Truong Quang Lang - Chairman of the Da Huoai District Labor Federation - affirmed: This year's Workers' Month has the theme "Vietnamese Workers Pioneer in entering a new era".
According to Mr. Lang, the organization of workers' month to raise awareness and responsibility of the whole society in caring and improving their lives and working conditions for workers; At the same time, honor and promote the role of the working class in the new development period of the country.
Representing 155 grassroots unions and nearly 2,400 union members and workers in the district, Ms. Tran Thi Tham - Chairwoman of the Saigon Madagui Tourism Joint Stock Company Union - spoke in response to Workers' Month.
Ms. Tham expressed her determination to constantly study, improve qualifications and professional skills, and actively compete in good and creative labor to improve productivity and product quality.
"These are also practical actions to help the working class adapt quickly to the context of international integration and the Fourth Industrial Revolution," Ms. Tham shared.
On this occasion, the Da Huoai District Labor Federation presented 30 gifts, each worth VND500,000, to encourage workers in difficult circumstances.
Right after the launching ceremony, hundreds of cadres, union members and workers enthusiastically participated in activities within the framework of the "Workers' Festival" with many folk games such as tug of war, ball throwing, sack jumping... creating a joyful, united and cohesive atmosphere in the working community.
