Dak Lak - Trade unions at all levels in Buon Ho town have supported union members and workers in taking care of their health and buying cheap goods, saving on living expenses.

On December 22, the Buon Ho Town Labor Federation (Dak Lak) held the 5th expanded Executive Committee meeting to summarize the Union's activities in 2024 and deploy tasks for 2025.

In 2024, the Trade Union at all levels of Buon Ho town achieved many outstanding achievements. The Solidarity and Mutual Assistance Fund was established with a total amount of 3.7 billion VND, supporting 488 union members and workers to borrow capital to develop the economy and improve their lives.

At the same time, 6 "Union Shelter" houses were built and repaired with a cost of 230 million VND, helping union members with housing difficulties.

The Town Labor Federation also established two grassroots unions in the non-state sector, developing 121 new union members, reaching 200% of the target.

The union cooperated with local supermarkets and clinics to implement a welfare program, discounting 5-45% of goods and providing free medical services such as liver cancer screening and thyroid ultrasound, benefiting nearly 600 union members.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Y Jone Ktull - Vice President of Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation - commended the positive results of the town's Trade Union in 2024.

He suggested that trade unions at all levels continue to overcome limitations, strengthen propaganda, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of union members, especially during the 2025 Lunar New Year.

Mr. Y Jone Ktull also emphasized the need to promote emulation movements to welcome Party Congresses at all levels, associated with developing union members, establishing grassroots unions and improving the quality of union activities.
