On December 20, Mr. Le Tan Luu - Chairman of Binh Tan Technology Vehicle Union, Ho Chi Minh City - said that the union has just coordinated with the microfinance Organization (CEP), VinFast Production and Trading Joint Stock Company and Green and Smart Mobility Joint Stock Company (GSM) to hand over the front of the electric vehicle to motorbike taxi drivers to replace the gasoline vehicle.
Accordingly, technology motorbike taxi drivers who receive their vehicles this time will be lent by CEP to buy electric vehicles in installments with a total amount of VND515 million, the entire interest rate is supported by VinFast Production and Trading Joint Stock Company.
Mr. Luu said that the activity is part of the program to promote sustainable green transformation, encourage technology drivers to switch to using electric motorbikes, contribute to reducing emissions, protecting the environment and accompanying the city in the goal of developing a green economy.
At the same time, it contributes to improving the lives of workers, through helping drivers access official, safe loans, preferential interest rates from CEP, thereby reducing financial pressure, stabilizing income and pushing back black credit in social life.
