Ms. Le Thi Thuy Lam - a teacher at Phan Dang Luu High School, Krong Buk District - is the main breadwinner in a family in difficult circumstances, her husband died early, and she raises two young children alone.
The Provincial Federation of Labor has supported 50 million VND from the "Union Shelter" Fund to help Ms. Lam build a house. The rest, her family borrowed more from friends and relatives to contribute to building a house of about 80 square meters, with a total cost of about 300 million VND.
Speaking at the handover of the "Union Shelter" house, Ms. Le Thi Thuy Lam emotionally shared: "I am truly grateful for the timely attention and support from the Union organization. The house is not only a place to live but also a spiritual support to help my mother and I overcome difficulties and continue to rise up in life."
A representative of the Provincial Federation of Labor said: "The Trade Union Shelter Program" is a practical activity, contributing to taking care of union members' lives. We hope that with this new house, Ms. Lam and her children will have better living conditions, continue to strive in work and studying.
The new house is a great source of spiritual encouragement to help Ms. Lam stabilize her life and work with peace of mind.
