The Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union is managing 49 grassroots unions with a total of 4,692 union members, with an average income of 9.6 million VND/month. Of the 6 targets assigned by the Provincial Labor Federation in 2024, the Civil Servants' Trade Union has achieved and exceeded the set plan.
Of which, 49/49 units organized conferences for civil servants, reaching 100% of the assigned targets; 99 new union members were developed, reaching 247.5%; 82 outstanding union members were introduced for the Party to consider, reaching 167%; 25 newly elected union presidents were all trained and fostered, reaching 103%; Union members participated in disseminating, studying and thoroughly grasping the Party's resolutions, policies, laws, and study topics in 2024 reaching 92%.
Activities to care for union members and workers continue to be organized practically and meaningfully by the Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union.
During the year, the Civil Servants' Union organized the "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Chia Chia" program for 63 union members and workers; subsidized 45 union members who made efforts to overcome difficulties on the occasion of Lunar New Year with the amount of 22.5 million VND; subsidized 14 union members in difficult circumstances and with serious illnesses on the occasion of Workers' Month, with a total amount of more than 7 million VND.
Vote for 5 outstanding union members to propose the Provincial Labor Federation to commend "Nghe An workers following Uncle Ho's teachings"; coordinate with the Provincial Labor Culture House to organize free swimming classes for 120 children of union members with a total benefit of 180 million VND; sign the "Union member welfare" program with Thai An General Hospital on preferential health check-up packages for union members and workers.
For grassroots unions, 100% of grassroots unions organize activities to care for and support union members and workers in many practical and meaningful ways during Lunar New Year, Workers' Month, Vietnamese Family Day, Children's Day...
The grassroots trade union spent nearly 1 billion VND to visit sick people and give gifts to union members in difficult circumstances; spent more than 915 million VND to organize sightseeing and tourism activities for union members.
During Workers' Month, 3 grassroots trade unions organized visits and gave gifts to workers at enterprises; organized the 2024 Workers' Youth Festival at Halotexco Garment Joint Stock Company (Nghi Loc district), with more than 500 workers and laborers participating.
Organized the program "Union Meal" at 16 grassroots unions with a total of 1,078 union members participating; the total value of the meals was over 100 million VND.
Social activities focus on mobilizing union members to contribute to the Tet fund for the poor; supporting people in difficult circumstances; supporting people in the North affected by storms.
Of which, union members contributed more than VND8.27 billion to the province's fund for the poor, supporting goods worth more than VND254 million; more than VND1.851 billion to support people in the North affected by storm No. 3.
At the summary conference, the grassroots trade union contributed many enthusiastic, responsible ideas and good practices in each unit. At the same time, it recognized and evaluated the limitations and shortcomings in 2024 and proposed directions for activities in 2025.
