On October 30, the Provincial Federation of Labor and the Provincial Department of Home Affairs jointly organized the 2024 Kien Giang Provincial Administrative Reform Propaganda Contest.
The 9 competing teams went through 3 rounds: Self-introduction with one of the following forms: presentation, poetry, song, folk song, etc.; A skit on administrative reform, administrative procedure control, building a civilized lifestyle in the workplace, implementing public service culture and complying with administrative discipline and order.... In particular, the Beauty of Officials, Civil Servants, and Public Employees contest included a performance of office attire and handling of situations with 5 members drawing lots to answer questions.
Commenting on the contest, Permanent Vice President of the Kien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor Pham Van Dang, Head of the Jury, said that most of the teams had performed excellently in the contest. The teams developed scripts for the skits that adhered to the theme, with investment, elaborate staging, beautiful costumes, scenery, and visuals. In the contest for the beauty of cadres, civil servants, and public employees, the teams performed confidently, answering the basic and complete content of the situational questions.
In the end, the Labor Federation teams of Vinh Thuan district and U Minh Thuong district excellently won first prize in the competition.
Permanent Vice President of the Kien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor Pham Van Dang also said that the contest aims to propagate the Party's guidelines, the State's and the province's laws and policies on administrative reform. At the same time, it enhances the role and responsibility of heads of agencies, units and localities in the propaganda of administrative reform. It also raises awareness and responsibility of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in organizing the implementation of this task.
The contest is also an opportunity for units in the province to meet, exchange and learn from experiences, thereby helping each cadre, civil servant and public employee to have a more complete awareness and perform well the tasks and solutions to promote administrative reform, contributing to improving and enhancing the province's Competitiveness Index.
