At the TKV Workers' Conference 2025, held in Ha Long this morning (March 19), a representative of TKV said that in recent years, TKV has continued to improve regulations and rules to build harmonious and progressive labor relations.
In 2024, the Group will continue to maintain stable jobs and income for employees. After Typhoon Yagi, units quickly arranged workers to return to work after nearly a week of recovery.
Labor safety, hygiene, and improvement of working conditions are the tasks that TKV puts first and foremost throughout the production and business process. The whole Group has invested in this work with a total amount of VND 1,400 billion, equal to 101.7% of the plan.
The average salary of the whole Group reached 17.95 million VND/person/month, an increase of 9.2% compared to the plan and an increase of 1.1% compared to the implementation in 2023; of which the underground coal sector was 20.5 million VND/person/month.
After balancing production and business efficiency, TKV and its units have balanced increasing the salary fund compared to the plan; supplementing year-end salaries, this is the third consecutive year that TKV has supplemented salaries for its units to harmoniously share benefits between employers and employees. In 2024, there will be 7 workers with an income of over 700 million VND, over 11,591 miners with an income of over 300 million VND/year, accounting for 47% of the total number of miners, an increase of 8% compared to 2023.

The Group also implements specific welfare regimes of the industry to better care for the health and life of workers.
In particular, 450 lung washing cases/year are carried out at a cost of VND 22.5 billion; organizing tours for vacations, orienting the construction of underground workers' housing; continuing to develop a model of transporting workers from far away to work every day by sleeper bus to help units stabilize the workforce; implementing the benefits in kind, shift meals and qualitative diets well.
The Group still focuses on training and fostering to improve the qualifications of employees. Total expenditure for training and fostering in 2024 is 965 billion VND; continue to implement the English training program and Modern Mining Business Administration for the 2024-2025 school year with a total period of 9 months, 3 months domestically and 6 months abroad...
TKV also promoted the scholarship sponsorship program, organized training and fostering for 3,700 people, an increase of 10% compared to the plan; trained to improve knowledge about occupational safety and hygiene for officers at the construction site and workshop level.
