On February 18, the Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation summarized and grasped the labor and employment situation from grassroots trade unions in the area.
Accordingly, during the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, more than 2,500 workers at businesses in the province registered to work throughout Tet to ensure production and business progress and meet early year orders.
The main target audience is workers performing jobs (security guards, machine operators, machine cleaning), concentrated in the fields of: garment, footwear, wood processing, electronic components and food production.
To encourage workers to work during the Tet holidays, in addition to paying overtime wages in accordance with legal regulations, units also support additional bonuses, allowances, mid-shift meals, New Year lucky money and organize visits and Tet greetings right at the factory.
Trade union levels in the province also coordinate with businesses to grasp the situation, promptly support and encourage workers to work during Tet; organize practical programs to encourage and care for both materially and spiritually for workers away from home during Tet.
In addition, the work of ensuring labor safety, fire and explosion prevention, and security and order during the Tet holidays is strengthened, contributing to helping production activities take place safely and smoothly.
