The People's Public Security Union has implemented synchronous solutions with diverse contents and forms to effectively and practically care for the material and spiritual life of cadres, union members and workers. Regularly conduct donations, support, assistance, visits and gifts for cadres and union members in difficult circumstances, those who have had work accidents, injuries while performing professional duties, union members with serious illnesses; support the repair of 23 union shelters and award 13 "Union shelters" with a total amount of 2.5 billion VND, "Loan support", "Hunger eradication and poverty reduction", "Comradely affection".
Maintain the projects "Adopted children of the Trade Union", "Helping children go to school", "Awarding Nguyen Duc Canh scholarships" to take care of children of cadres and union members with serious, incurable diseases, long-term illnesses requiring regular medical intervention, costly medical examination and treatment, or support children of union members with difficult circumstances but with the will to strive to achieve high academic achievements; establish and maintain the activities of the "Charity Fund", collect funds from groups and individuals to support difficult circumstances inside and outside the police force.
Actively coordinate with units to organize many activities to take care of material and spiritual needs, organize birthdays, visit, vacations, and rest for union members... create a healthy and useful playground, a joyful atmosphere to help cadres and union members reduce difficulties, have an increasingly better life, enjoy more spiritual values, thereby being enthusiastic in work, and completing tasks well.
Welfare work for cadres, union members, and employees continues to be effectively implemented. In 2024, more than 5,000 union members benefited from welfare programs with a total amount of more than 49 billion VND; in particular, through coordination with units outside the Industry to implement welfare programs for cadres, 4 union members, and employees through supporting employees who need to borrow capital to create more jobs for themselves and their families, pay school fees for their children, study to improve professional qualifications, improve skills, and improve living conditions with low interest rates; the organization signed a cooperation agreement with CEP Microfinance Organization to implement a capital support program for cadres, union members, etc.
