Lam Dong – Duc Trong District Labor Federation presented 320 gifts to union members and disadvantaged workers during Tet, with a total value of 185 million VND.

On January 11, Chairman of Duc Trong District Labor Federation - Mr. Luu Van Loi said that the unit had just organized the program "Tet Sum Vay At Ty - 2025".

At the program, the unit presented 320 Tet gifts to union members, with a total value of 185 million VND.

These are union members and workers working at units and enterprises in the district. The grassroots unions have reviewed, selected, and proposed to the higher-level unions for support during this Lunar New Year.

“They are people who are sick, have serious illnesses, are undergoing long-term treatment, or are raising young children, have elderly parents, or have lost their jobs, so they are in difficult circumstances and need to be shared and helped,” said Mr. Luu Van Loi.

According to Mr. Loi, the budget for giving gifts this Tet holiday is balanced by the unit from many different sources. Some are from the Provincial Labor Federation, some are from the unit's trade union finances.

Along with that, the unit mobilized Lien Nghia People's Credit Fund and Lien Hiep People's Credit Fund to support 60 million VND.

Receiving the gift this time, Ms. K' Doi, a worker at Da Lat - Japan Food Company Limited, emotionally shared that the union members and workers were very excited to receive the Tet gifts.

“We were given a gift worth 500,000 VND. Some of our brothers and sisters in more difficult circumstances were given 1 million VND. With this money, I will buy some more candies and jams for Tet…” - Ms. K’ Doi added.
