Over 920 million VND to support people in areas affected by floods

HCMC - Phuoc Thang Ward Trade Union and other organizations have received more than 920 million VND, including cash and necessities to support people in difficulty.

On December 6, Phuoc Thang Ward Trade Union said that as of 5:00 p.m. on December 5, the unit and socio-political organizations had received a large amount of cash, goods, and necessities to support people affected by natural disasters and floods.

Of which, more than 643 million VND was received in cash and transferred to the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ho Chi Minh City, and the entire amount was transferred to the Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front.

In addition, all goods and necessities were donated to people in affected areas with a total value of more than 282 million VND; along with 417 packs of clothes were transported to the damaged areas to provide timely support to people in difficulty.

Phuoc Thang Ward Trade Union and socio-political organizations strongly call on donors and local people to continue to support and join hands to support people affected by natural disasters and floods.
