The 2025 Southern region sports festival of the Vietnam National Industry - Energy Group organized by Petrovietnam Trade Union will take place on June 20-22. The sports festival was practically organized to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day 2.9; to celebrate the 4th Petrovietnam Party Congress, term 2025-2030 towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the founding of Petrovietnam.
The sports festival has 10 competitions, gathering nearly 1,500 athletes from 25 affiliated trade unions. The sports festival encouraged each union member and employee to actively participate in practicing a sport, renew themselves, overcome themselves, maintain the spirit of solidarity, promote collective strength, and strive to compete and be creative in labor - production.
In addition, this is also an opportunity to spread the spirit of "Healthy to build and protect the Fatherland" and a useful playground for union members and workers to have the opportunity to exchange, learn, enhance solidarity, demonstrate courage, resilience, and move towards a dynamic, positive and healthy lifestyle. Thereby demonstrating the strong connection between Petrovietnam's hearts who are in the same heart - for the Group's sustainable development goals.
At the end of the Sports Festival, the Organizing Committee awarded many sets of medals, of which Vietsovpetro topped with 64 medals, including 19 Gold medals, 16 Silver medals and 29 Bronze medals.
