Article 33 of Decree 33/2023/ND-CP stipulates the current number of administrative units at the commune level, in villages and residential groups as follows:
(1) The number of CCC at commune level is calculated by the type of administrative unit at the commune level, specifically as follows:
+ Type I is 14 people;
+ Type II is 12 people;
+ Type III is 10 people.
(2) Provincial People's Committees shall base on the number of commune-level administrative units with a population size and natural area greater than the standards prescribed in the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the standards of administrative units and classify administrative units to calculate the number of additional administrative units at the commune level.
(3) Population scale (including adjusted permanent population and temporary residents) and natural area as of December 31 of each year to determine the number of administrative units at the commune level as prescribed in (2) shall comply with the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on standards for administrative units and classification of administrative units.
In case the commune -level administrative unit is up to December 31, every year changes in the size of the population and the natural area specified in (2) or there is a change in the type of administrative unit, the provincial People's Committee submits to the People's Council of the same level for consideration and adjustment ...
(4) Every year, the provincial People's Committee submits to the People's Council of the same level to decide the number of Councils at the commune level for each district -level administrative unit under the scope of management to suit the requirements of reality, but must ensure the total number of Councils at the commune level of district -level administrative units does not exceed the total number of Councils at the commune level calculated for both provincial administrative units as prescribed in 2).
(5) Every year, the People's Committee at the district level decides on the specific number of administrative units at the commune level in each commune-level administrative unit and arranges the number of administrative units at the commune level under its management to suit the requirements and tasks of each commune-level administrative unit.
(6) A part -time activist in the village, the residential group has no more than 3 titles (including the Secretary of the Party cell, the head of the village or the head of the residential group, the head of the Front Task Force) is entitled to monthly allowances. In case of other provisions of the law, the provisions of that law shall be complied with.
