On the afternoon of September 25, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) held a conference to announce the Decision to establish a affiliated ward Trade Union.
Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor decided to establish 9 Ward Trade Unions in the North Khanh Hoa area including: Tay Nha Trang, Nam Nha Trang, Bac Nha Trang, Nha Trang, Dong Ninh Hoa, Ninh Hoa, Cam Ranh, Cam Linh, Bac Cam Ranh.
The Standing Committee of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor also decided to appoint the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of 9 wards. The Vice Chairman of the Ward Fatherland Front Committee was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Ward Trade Union.
The trade unions of the wards will operate according to the model of a unit under the Provincial Federation of Labor, with its own seal and account according to regulations.
Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Mr. Phan Thanh Liem - Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor emphasized that the establishment of ward unions is an important milestone, marking a new step in the development of trade union organizations in the province.
This is also an extension of the Provincial Federation of Labor in gathering, uniting, and promoting the strength of the working class and laborers in the locality.
Thereby, creating a stronger and more unified organization, while promoting the socio-economic development of communes and wards in the province.
According to Mr. Liem, in order for the ward union to operate effectively, meeting increasingly high requirements in the new development stage of the province, the Standing Committee of the ward union will focus on the following tasks: Building a strong organization, representing and protecting the rights and care for the lives of union members and workers.
Along with that, the trade union will promote propaganda and launch a creative labor emulation movement, contributing to the completion of local political, economic and social tasks.
Immediately after the announcement ceremony, the Executive Board of the Trade Union of 9 wards deployed tasks for the fourth quarter of 2025.
