On August 7, Mr. Bui Hoai Nam - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) - said that the unit has just deployed the emulation movement "Good labor, high productivity, good income" for the period 2026-2031 to grassroots trade unions (CĐCS) in the area.
Accordingly, in the period 2026-2031, strive for at least 65% of workers to be trained, educated, and fostered to improve their professional qualifications, professional skills, and digital skills.
At the same time, 75% of employees at businesses are disseminated knowledge about information technology, digital technology and use smart devices for work.
Grassroots trade unions are also encouraged to organize or send union members to participate in skills competitions, skilled workers competitions, and professional skills competitions at all levels; every year, workers are commended and rewarded with the title of excellent worker, excellent laborer at the grassroots level and enterprises.
To realize the above goals, the Provincial Labor Federation will organize the Provincial Skills Festival annually to honor highly skilled workers.
Coordinating with the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations to propagate and mobilize union members to participate in the Khanh Hoa Provincial Technical Innovation Contest, contributing to promoting the innovation movement, applying technical solutions to production and life.
In addition, the trade union organization will research and propose mechanisms and policies to encourage union members and workers to self-study, improve digital skills, technology skills, adapt to the digital working environment and smart production models.
At the grassroots level, trade unions coordinate with businesses to develop training programs, retraining human resources; periodically evaluate the results of task implementation to have appropriate incentive policies.
Organize activities to honor good workers, and at the same time propose a mechanism to prioritize salary and bonus increases for workers who achieve high results in vocational competitions.
Along with improving the quality of human resources, the Provincial Labor Federation also implemented an emulation movement to improve labor productivity.
Accordingly, every year strive to have at least 1,000 initiatives of workers proposed and applied in practice; from 5-10 initiatives proposed for the Creative Labor Medal.
The profit value from initiatives in the first year of implementation strives to reach at least 2 billion VND, then increase from 10-15% each year.
Units and businesses participating in the movement also aim for an average labor productivity growth rate of about 8.5%/year, while at least 30% of workers exceed annual labor norms.
The Provincial Labor Federation will update the software to receive online initiatives and promote propaganda on digital platforms.
Organizing the "My Job Story" contest to spread the spirit of creative labor, share professional experiences and honor the values of workers.
For grassroots trade unions, coordinate with businesses to build mechanisms to encourage initiatives; promote the application of digital transformation, AI, big data, and advanced management models such as 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing in production.
