On April 12, leaders of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation said that the unit will organize the May Flag salute ceremony, on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 – May 1, 2026).
The activity is implemented according to Plan No. 2413/KH-UBND dated August 20, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee on organizing flag-raising and flag salute ceremonies periodically associated with major holidays and important events of the locality.
This is one of the key activities of Workers' Month 2026 of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation with many highlights to honor the role of the working class in the new development stage.
According to the plan, the ceremony was attended by leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and delegates from departments, branches, and localities, along with 12 blocs of workers, laborers, and trade union officials with a total of nearly 700 participants.
This year's flag salute ceremony is organized in a renovation direction, emphasizing the image of Khanh Hoa workers in the socio-economic development process. At the same time, it spreads the spirit of creative labor, responsibility and integration.
Through this activity, the Trade Union organization aims to propagate and educate to raise awareness for union members and workers about the tradition of national struggle, the role and great contributions of the Vietnamese working class.
This is also an opportunity to ignite the immortal spirit of International Labor Day, creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere throughout the trade union system, associated with the effective implementation of Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026.
With the theme "Vietnamese Workers: Innovation, Improving Labor Productivity", Workers' Month 2026 in Khanh Hoa will focus on implementing 6 key activities.
In which, outstanding are programs towards grassroots levels, strengthening dialogue, building practical benefits for union members, and organizing activities with workers as the center.
At the same time, focus on visiting and supporting union members in difficult circumstances and labor accidents; supporting workers to adapt to digital transformation, improve their skills and improve their lives.
The Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation strives for 55% or more of grassroots trade unions in all types of enterprises to organize at least one response activity during the peak of Workers' Month 2026.
