On December 24, information from the Khanh Hoa Provincial Employment Service Center said that from the beginning of 2025 to now, the Center has received 15,811 applications for unemployment benefits.
Of which, a large proportion of documents were submitted by employees via the National Public Service Portal with 11,288 cases, 4,523 documents were submitted directly to the center.
The number of unemployment benefit applications transferred from 2024 to 461 applications, the remaining 15,350 applications arose in the year.
The Center has processed 15,070 records. Of these, 14,681 records are eligible for unemployment benefits, 389 records are not eligible according to regulations. Currently, there are 739 dossiers that are continuing to be reviewed, resolved and transferred to the next phase.
Not only focusing on handling unemployment benefit applications, Khanh Hoa Provincial Employment Service Center also fully implements policies related to unemployment insurance policies.
Specifically, the Center has issued decisions to receive unemployment benefits for 14,681 people, canceling decisions to receive unemployment benefits for 300 cases.
There are 281 cases of relocation to receive unemployment benefits. Of which, 156 cases were transferred and 125 cases were transferred were resolved.
In addition, the Center has also issued a decision to temporarily suspend unemployment benefits for 149 cases, and for 42 cases to continue receiving benefits. There are 1,382 people who have stopped receiving allowances according to regulations.
In 2025, the Center issued a decision to support vocational training for 455 people receiving unemployment benefits, contributing to helping workers improve their skills and return to the labor market soon.
The work of checking, supervising and recovering unemployment benefits paid incorrectly in accordance with regulations has also been strengthened.
The total number of cases to be recovered from the previous period is 90 cases with an amount of more than 468 million VND. In 2025, there will be 168 more cases of unemployment benefits being revoked, with an amount of over VND 861 million.
To date, the Center has recovered more than 537 million VND, there are currently 165 cases with more than 793 million VND that are continuing to be recovered.
In parallel with professional work, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Employment Service Center has stepped up propaganda of unemployment insurance policies to employees and 1,000 enterprises in the area.
