Through actual inspection and listening to reports from departments, branches, localities, and investors, Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Tien Chau assigned the City Police to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Construction to arrange forces to regulate and update traffic order and safety and related information on routes, promptly adjust traffic light signal cycles to suit; study adjusting traffic light phases to be reasonable with the actual traffic flow at traffic junctions.
In the long term, the city has a policy to rebuild and renovate the Truong Chinh - Bui Vien intersection in the project to invest in the construction of the road connecting National Highway 5 - National Highway 10 section through Kien An. The Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Transport and Agricultural Works is preparing technical designs for the project; construction is expected to start in the second quarter of 2026.
To make the project implemented quickly and effectively soon, the Secretary of the City Party Committee requested local authorities to pay attention to accelerating site clearance work. The investor needs to focus on standard technical design plans, avoiding design adjustments. Along with that, shorten the time to carry out administrative procedures; select reputable contractors with sufficient capacity to construct the project. In the construction process, ensure safety, have a traffic diversion plan, focus on construction at night to reduce congestion.
