Mr. Nguyen Hai Long - Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial Federation of Labor - said that the Standing Committee of the Ninh Binh Provincial Federation of Labor is developing a Project to establish commune and ward trade unions to submit to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for approval.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor issued Official Letter No. 735/LDLD-TC dated June 14, 2025 on reporting and seeking opinions on handling houses, land and assets on land when implementing the arrangement of administrative units at all levels. In particular, the report proposes to transfer 5 district-level Labor Federation headquarters to local management; transfer some fixed assets, tools and equipment to localities that need to receive them. When there is an opinion from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, it will be implemented according to regulations.
Based on Official Dispatch No. 747/MTTQ-BTT dated June 26, 2025 of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Binh province on the handover of assets and finances when implementing the arrangement and merger of provincial-level administrative units and stabilizing the operation of the apparatus. The Ninh Binh Provincial Federation of Labor has completed the handover of assets and finances to stabilize the operation of the apparatus" - Mr. Long said.
Continue to innovate to improve the quality of activities
According to Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial Federation of Labor Nguyen Hai Long, in the context of expanding management areas and increased number of union members and workers, Ninh Binh Trade Union needs to continue to innovate and improve the quality of activities. There must be good practices, new practices to bring efficiency, meeting the expectations and trust of employees in the Trade Union organization.
The Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial Federation of Labor said that in the coming time, the Ninh Binh Provincial Federation of Labor will continue to direct trade unions at all levels in the province to closely monitor the situation of enterprises, life, employment and the implementation of policies and regimes for union members and workers in the area. Focus on activities to visit and support union members and workers in difficult circumstances, who have lost their jobs, or have reduced working hours... At the same time, deploy solutions to mobilize resources to effectively implement the activities "Tet Sum Vay", "Worker's Month", and the "Union Member Welfare" program.
In addition, Trade Unions at all levels in Ninh Binh province actively participate in developing legal policies related to employees and trade union organizations.
Organize emulation movements, campaigns to improve labor productivity, work efficiency, attract union members and employees to participate.
Maintain and spread good models and new ways of taking care of union members and workers' lives. In particular, improving the quality of Collective Labor Agreements, shift meals, expanding squeezing and storing milk for female workers with young children and providing labor legal advice to workers...
