Living safely and economically in the Trade Union Institution Area
Ms. Pham Thi Bich Hong (from Hoa Binh), a worker at Dong Van 4 Industrial Park, has moved to Ha Nam Trade Union Institution since 2022, after getting married and having two young children. The apartment is 45m2 wide with full amenities, the rental price is 1.9 million VND/month.
Here, near companies, schools, markets, hospitals, good security, cheap electricity and water prices. The living environment is clean and the residents are friendly because they are all workers from many provinces and cities, Ms. Hong shared.
According to her, if she rents a similar house outside, the cost can be up to 3 - 5 million VND/month. Living in an institutional area helps the family save significantly to worry about the future.
Similarly, the family of Ms. Dang My Thu (Chiem Hoa, Tuyen Quang) has been working in Dong Van Industrial Park for more than 5 years. The couple and their 3 young children currently live in a 45m2 apartment in the Ha Nam Trade Union Institution Area.
Ms. Thu said that registering for social housing rental through the Trade Union of the company where she is working is a very quick and convenient procedure.
In addition to the rental price and the electricity and water price being lower than outside, what Ms. Thu feels satisfied with is the living space. Near the house, there are 2 parks, right under the building there is also space for children to play, a soccer field, and a multi-purpose sports house.
Mr. Doan Minh Khue (Vu Thu, Thai Binh) and his wife have moved to this social housing area for nearly half a year, sharing: "I hope the Union will build more buildings to facilitate workers' hiring, make it convenient for work and stabilize their lives. Here, there are nearly 4 large industrial parks in the province, so the housing demand of workers is very high".
