Crystal Intimate Company Limited (Vietnam) was established in 2017, located in Quang Chau Industrial Park, Nenh Ward. The company specializes in the production of exported garments with about 3,400 cadres, union members, and workers.
The Trade Union of Crystal Intimate Company Limited coordinated with the business leaders to organize a Trade Union Meal on August 28 with a total meal value of VND 55,000 (of which the company spent VND 30,000, the trade union spent VND 25,000) and was held at the company cafeteria. Without the contractor, the support money from the grassroots union is used effectively by the company's kitchen.
For the Crystal Intimate Company Trade Union, as well as other grassroots trade unions, before organizing the program, the Trade Union Executive Committee met and agreed on the working methods in the Trade Union Executive Committee.
Because the program is held in the company's kitchen, it is possible to directly check food hygiene and safety, have a plan to ensure security and order, and avoid affecting production.
The union meal program has 2,997 meals for all union members and workers at the facility in an open and friendly atmosphere. Leaders and workers sit together and chat like family members. At the grassroots union program, it was integrated so that leaders could share development orientations, workers express their thoughts, propose wishes; the union directly recorded and reflected. From there, many problems in labor relations were resolved, the working spirit of workers improved, and leaders had more confidence in the role of the trade union.
The representative of the grassroots trade union proposed that in the coming time, the forms of organizing union meals should be flexible: Meals can be organized in groups, workshops, or on special occasions for a large number of workers to participate. Along with that, take advantage of the union meal program for leaders and workers to directly discuss and answer questions.
In addition, it is proposed that the Provincial Federation of Labor encourage enterprises to consider union meals as part of their corporate culture, organize them periodically every year or quarterly so that employees have more activities in conjunction with enterprises and trade union organizations at the grassroots level.
At Cao Hi-P Vietnam Industrial and Applied Technology Company Limited, in the process of developing a plan to organize union meals, the grassroots union reviewed union members in difficult circumstances to request the Provincial Labor Federation to give gifts, and actively proposed to the board of directors of the enterprise to coordinate in organizing union meal programs at the company.
On August 19, 2025, the Trade Union coordinated with the enterprise to organize a trade union meal for100 union members and employees, with a total value of 49,500,000 VND, of which the trade union budget was 22,000,000 VND; the company spent 27,500,000 VND. At the union meal, 37 workers in difficult circumstances were given gifts, worth a total of 74,000,000 VND.
The Guo Vina Co., Ltd. Trade Union is a unit that also successfully organized a union meal. The company's union representative said that the attention, support and companionship of the superior union and the Board of Directors of the enterprise is a key factor for the success of the program; when the business leaders clearly recognize the significance of the program, the organization will be convenient and sustainable.
Representatives of grassroots trade unions proposed to diversify the forms of organization, which can be integrated with cultural, sports and reward activities to increase attractiveness; suggested that the Provincial Labor Federation continue to expand and maintain the program, while having more forms of funding support, consultation, and resource connection for grassroots trade unions to implement more smoothly.
