In the period 2023-2025, Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union levels have gradually improved the quality of dialogue, negotiation, signing and implementation of collective labor agreements with many contents that are more beneficial to workers than the provisions of law.
From 2023 to the end of the first 6 months of 2025, the trade unions of Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau provinces (formerly) signed a total of 3,493 collective labor agreements. In the last 6 months of the year, the trade unions of Ho Chi Minh City (after the merger) signed 56 new collective labor agreements.
In general, in the period 2023-2025, trade unions in Ho Chi Minh City signed 3,549 collective labor agreements. Most of these collective labor agreements have many advantages for workers compared to the provisions of law.
In the period 2025-2030, the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union strives for 85% or more of enterprises and units with trade union organizations to sign collective labor agreements, of which at least 10% meet type A, 40% meet type B.
