On January 30, the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation organized a signing ceremony for the Cooperation Agreement Program on welfare for trade union members and employees (NLĐ) with 3 units: Saigon Tam Duc Dental Group, Saigon Kien Giang Eye Hospital and Yakult Vietnam Co., Ltd. branch in Kien Giang province (old).
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Do Tran Thinh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation - emphasized that the signing of this cooperation agreement is one of the specific activities to concretize the program " Welfare for Trade Union Members", clearly showing the role of the Trade Union organization in constantly expanding practical care policies, improving the material and spiritual quality of life for union members and workers.
According to the signed content, welfare programs focus on essential needs directly related to workers' health.
In the field of oral care, Saigon Tam Duc Dental Group implements many preferential policies such as issuing VIP cards worth from 3–5 million VND depending on the target group; deep reduction in porcelain veneer services, teeth whitening, dental correction, implants... The program applies at the group's branch system, creating conditions for union members and employees to access quality dental services at preferential costs.
In the field of vision care, Saigon Kien Giang Eye Hospital offers free specialized examination packages; reduces surgery costs for refractive error treatment; supports cataract surgery (PHACO) at preferential prices; organizes free shuttle buses and re-examinations. These policies help workers, especially direct production workers, have the opportunity to receive better vision care and protection.
Regarding nutrition and digestive system care, the branch of Yakult Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Kien Giang province (old) provides Yakult products at preferential prices lower than the market price, ensuring quality and transporting directly to grassroots trade unions. The enterprise also coordinates to propagate knowledge of gut health care, contributing to raising awareness about disease prevention for union members.
An Giang Provincial Labor Federation is responsible for directing grassroots trade unions to widely disseminate the content of the agreement; create conditions for businesses to access union members and workers. At the same time, monitor and supervise the implementation process to ensure that preferential policies reach the right beneficiaries, are public, transparent and effective.
Representatives of cooperating units wish to share and accompany union members and workers through practical health care programs, service incentives and community activities. Thereby, contributing to helping union members and workers improve physical fitness, prevent diseases, feel secure in labor, production and long-term attachment to businesses.
Cooperation agreements with a term of 1-2 years are the basis for the Provincial Labor Federation to continue to evaluate and replicate effective welfare models in the coming time, contributing to improving the lives, health and attachment of workers to the Trade Union organization.
The signing ceremony not only expanded the network of welfare partners but also affirmed the determination to innovate Trade Union activities in a practical direction, strongly towards grassroots levels, taking union members and workers as the center of all care activities.
After the signing ceremony, the branch of Yakult Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Kien Giang province (old) presented many gifts to delegates.
