The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just issued a Regulation on coordination in initially resolving strikes that are not in accordance with labor laws in the city.
Accordingly, the leaders of the People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones of Con Dao are responsible for responding to the media about the situation of strikes and collective labor disputes that are not in accordance with labor law in the locality.
At the same time, organize meetings with employers and representatives of the collective of employees to grasp the aspirations of the dispute parties, direct forces to ensure security and order, and support businesses to soon stabilize normal production and business activities.
The leaders of the People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones of Con Dao are also responsible for chairing a meeting of the working group to initially resolve collective labor disputes that are not in accordance with labor law to discuss and decide on solutions to handle possible situations and scenarios for response to ensure security and order at enterprises and in the management area.
In case the strikes are not considered in accordance with the order and procedures or the employer is not allowed to take a strike, they will be handled according to the provisions of Article 211 of the 2019 Labor Code.
