In recent years, Hung Yen Garment Corporation - Joint Stock Company has become one of the typical enterprises in caring for the welfare of employees. In addition to maintaining quality shift meals with a refreshing dining area, applying a strict "one-way kitchen" process according to the instructions of the provincial Food Safety and Hygiene Department, the company has never had any food poisoning cases.
Not only caring about meals, the business also invests in building a modern kindergarten, including 14 classrooms and 3 functional rooms, to meet the needs of caring for and educating 450 children from 12 to 36 months old. The team of 34 teachers all have passed the college entrance exam or higher, working under the professional management of the local Department of Education, implementing the standard program of the major.
To support workers far from home, the company has arranged an apartment complex with 65 closed rooms, giving priority to workers in difficult circumstances and ethnic minorities. In addition, the enterprise invested in 2 badminton courts, 2 table tennis tables, 1 multi-purpose room to organize cultural and sports activities; at the same time, coordinated with the ward cultural department to give workers more space to exercise.
The company also pays special attention to occupational safety and hygiene. The enterprise established a network of 50 occupational safety and hygiene workers, coordinating with the union to conduct periodic inspections, supervise production processes, and ensure a safe working environment. Two times a year, the company organizes labor environment monitoring, checking lighting, temperature, air quality indexes, etc. to ensure standard working conditions. Periodic health check-ups, specialist examinations for female workers, and occupational disease prevention are maintained regularly, with the coordination of the Textile and Garment Health Center.
At the same time, the enterprise also strictly implements social insurance and unemployment insurance regimes for 100% of employees, paying in full and on time. The lowest salary of direct production workers is 7% higher than the regional minimum wage. In addition, the company has purchased additional personal insurance for 100 employees and voluntary insurance for 100 relatives for 5 consecutive years.

With 100% of workers being union members, this organization has truly become a reliable support, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of union members and their families.
Every year, the Trade Union coordinates with enterprises to organize many meaningful activities: domestic and foreign tours for union members; "Union Meal" program, meeting with employees in policy families, giving gifts to retirees and soldiers; visiting and providing grants to those in need; organizing cultural exchanges, sports, collective birthdays, Children's Tet, Mid-Autumn Festival for workers' children...
In particular, on the occasion of Workers' Month, the Trade Union launched a vibrant emulation movement, encouraging workers to promote initiatives and improve techniques. Each year, the company records hundreds of initiatives, bringing benefits of tens of billions of VND. 11 union members have been awarded the Creative Labor Certificate by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, of which 2 individuals were awarded by the Prime Minister.

Many meaningful programs have been implemented such as giving voluntary insurance to relatives, rewarding excellent students who are children of union members, and maintaining apartment buildings for workers far from home.
