Before stopping operations, the Lien Chieu District Labor Federation recorded many important results in the first 6 months of 2025. Currently, the unit is managing 136 grassroots unions with nearly 7,000 union members.
In the first 6 months of 2025, the Lien Chieu District Labor Federation established 4 new grassroots unions, developing 189 union members. Patriotic emulation movements among employees continue to be promoted, focusing on "Emulation in studying to improve educational and professional qualifications, meeting the requirements of integration and development", "Good advice, good service", " Implementing office and public place culture".
The work of caring for workers' lives has received special attention, notably the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Chia Chia" on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025 which presented 1,088 gifts (1 million VND/gift) and supported 3,100 shopping vouchers for disadvantaged cases. In addition, the District Labor Federation also supported many union members to borrow capital, repair "Union Shelter" houses, and develop 189 new union members.
In her speech, Ms. Ho Thi Lan Huong, Vice President of the Da Nang City Labor Federation, praised the achievements of the District Labor Federation; at the same time, she suggested that the Executive Committee should review and closely hand over all documents, finances and personnel before dissolving. Grassroots trade unions are required to improve proactiveness to take on a central role in activities at their units. On this occasion, the conference also commended outstanding collectives and individuals.
